About This Template
E.ON Energie Deutschland offers electricity and natural-gas products to households and businesses in Germany, subject to local availability and the selected tariff. E.ON’s billing guidance distinguishes between an electricity statement, or Stromrechnung, and a natural-gas statement, or Erdgasrechnung. Its billing structure includes the contract and invoice references, billing period, customer and supply-point details, meter information, consumption calculations, payments, and the resulting balance.
This blank E.ON Germany bill template recreates the general information hierarchy of that type of energy statement. It contains empty or sample-only fields and does not include active account references, personal data, valid meter identifiers, or provider-issued transaction information.
What This Template Is For
- UI and UX mockups: Create billing dashboards, customer portals, document viewers, account pages, and mobile-app concepts.
- QA upload testing: Test file-selection fields, document previews, PDF processing, page orientation, filename validation, and upload-size rules in a controlled environment.
- Education and training: Explain how German electricity and natural-gas statements organize consumption, pricing, meter, and payment information.
- Design portfolios: Present document-layout, typography, information-hierarchy, localization, and interface-design skills without displaying customer data.
If You Need a Real E.ON Bill
Customers who need an official E.ON invoice should sign in to the official Mein E.ON customer portal. The portal allows customers to review and download available invoices, check account documents, submit meter readings, and manage contract information.
When an invoice is missing, contains an incorrect address, or relates to an older billing period, contact E.ON customer service and provide the relevant contract details.
Tenants whose electricity or gas is included in their rent may not have an E.ON account in their own name. In that situation, request a signed utility or tenancy confirmation from the landlord and ask the organization requesting documentation whether it accepts a landlord letter, tenancy agreement, registration certificate, or another officially issued alternative.
Why You Shouldn’t Buy a Completed Utility Bill Online
Purchasing a pre-filled utility bill and presenting it as evidence of residence or account ownership misrepresents the document’s origin and may constitute fraud. It is also unreliable because a document-review process may compare the submitted information with provider records, account history, supply-point identifiers, meter details, or information obtained directly from the customer.
Paying for a completed document does not create an E.ON contract or an official billing history. The lawful and dependable option is to download the invoice from your own provider account, request a corrected copy from customer service, or use another officially accepted document.
E.ON Germany Bill Structure
Germany has a competitive household electricity and gas market in which customers may select and change their energy supplier. However, the physical network and metering functions remain connected to local regulated operators, which is why an energy statement can identify E.ON as the supplier while listing separate network and metering companies.
E.ON identifies the document as either an electricity or natural-gas statement rather than using one universal service description. A suitable blank layout may therefore include the following service-specific sections:
- Invoice header and billing period
The opening section identifies the document type, such as Stromrechnung or Erdgasrechnung, together with the invoice number, contract reference and applicable billing period. - Customer, supply point and meter details
The statement separates the customer or contract holder from the Verbrauchsstelle, meaning the address where energy is delivered. It also includes the relevant meter number. - Payments, credit or remaining balance
E.ON compares calculated energy costs with the instalments already paid during the billing period. The summary then shows either a Guthaben, meaning a customer credit, or a Restbetrag/Nachzahlung, meaning an outstanding amount, together with relevant payment information. - Consumption periods and meter readings
Annual consumption may be divided into several dated rows. Separate periods can appear after a tariff change, price adjustment, submitted meter reading or year-end calculation. Consumption for each period is derived from the difference between the applicable meter readings. - Arbeitspreis and Grundpreis
The usage-based Arbeitspreis is calculated per consumed kilowatt-hour, while the Grundpreis covers fixed costs that do not directly depend on consumption. E.ON’s explanation notes that these values may appear net of VAT in the detailed calculation table, with taxes and other components summarized separately. - German market and metering identifiers
A German energy statement can include the Marktlokation or MaLo-ID, Messlokation, responsible network operator and metering operator. Electricity statements may also provide energy-source information and a breakdown of network charges, taxes and statutory levies. On natural-gas statements, meter consumption recorded in cubic metres is converted into kilowatt-hours using the calorific value and condition number.
E.ON statements can also show a comparison with the previous billing period, average household consumption information, current tariff details, contract duration, the new monthly Abschlag, future payment dates and the expected date of the next annual statement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this as a real E.ON bill?
No. This is an independent blank design resource rather than a document generated from an E.ON customer account. It has no valid contract history, billing record, meter relationship or provider confirmation and cannot establish residence or account ownership.
Why can’t I fill it in and use it?
Adding a name, address, account number or consumption figure does not turn a design file into provider-issued correspondence. Submitting altered or self-created billing information as official evidence may constitute fraud, and the supplied details may conflict with actual provider, meter, network or account records.
Use the template only with fictional or clearly marked demonstration data inside a controlled mockup, testing or educational project.
How do I get a real E.ON bill?
Sign in to Mein E.ON, open the invoice or document area and download the statement connected to your own contract. E.ON states that customers can review and download invoices through its online portal and app.
When you cannot access the account or need a corrected document, contact E.ON through its official customer-service channels. Tenants without a personal utility account should request appropriate documentation from their landlord and confirm which alternatives are accepted by the requesting organization.
